2.1 Account Information
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, company name, and role. If you subscribe to a paid plan, our payment processor (Stripe) handles billing details — we do not store credit card numbers.
2.2 Usage Data
We collect anonymised usage telemetry including pipeline execution counts, feature usage patterns, and performance metrics. This data helps us improve the platform.
2.3 Customer Data
Cupel orchestrates data pipelines — your data is processed in your own cloud environment. We do not store customer data at rest in our infrastructure. Only schema metadata (table names, column names, data types) is transmitted to our control plane.

4. Data Security
We employ industry-standard security measures including AES-256 encryption at rest, TLS 1.3 encryption in transit, and mTLS for internal service communication. Access to production systems is restricted via role-based access controls and multi-factor authentication.

Account data is retained for the duration of your subscription plus 90 days. Audit logs are retained in hot storage for 90 days, warm storage (S3) for 2 years, and cold storage (Glacier) for the remainder of any regulatory retention period.
6. Third-Party Services
We use select third-party services to operate the platform: Auth0 (authentication), Stripe (payments), and cloud infrastructure providers (AWS). Each provider is vetted for security compliance.
7. Your Rights
